Things are breaking down terribly on my 2006 series 3. Repair bills are coming to 2000$+ this year. Last year I paid 1000$ for repairs.
Kbb says if I sell it I will get max 5K!
Is it better to sell this money pit or keep pouring $ into it every year for repairs? Can I still buy 3rd party extended warranty to cover any future mechanical or electrical failures?
What would you do?

A) car is in great condition and was well maintained all times (you have few or ten years before it becomes expensive)
B) you do all works by yourself (parts are mostly cheep, labor is expensive) - but this point is relative. It will takes your time and time is money. Do this if you want and enjoy this job.
P.S. I do all works on my car by myself, but only because its kind of relaxing for me
