Do not leave, unless you go off grid for isolation. If you go to small suburban towns and you are sick you can overwhelm healthcare there and bring risk to local population, it is selfish. China did something right by not allowing migration from hot spots.
Yeah true. I think most of new yorkers who left are not dumb enough and will self isolate for 2 weeks. I left and isolate myself. My mental health state is so much better than I was in new york.
For folks leaving soon or planning to leave, you might already be infected. NYC has most ventilators in the country. It’s ur best bet.
I thought their hospitals are already full. They’ll probably have to choose who can live in the next couple of days.
Leaving is a good idea. If you become deathly ill you won’t even get a hospital bed or ventilator. Just stay quarantined so you don’t turn some other poor state into the next epicenter.
Make sure you self isolate for 14 days at your destination. Seriously
