There is an old rivalry between the two truck makers. But all of the redneck types I’ve ever met seem to be 100% Chevy only. So what is the stereotypical Ford truck driver then?

My dad live in suburban Twin Cities, MN. He is a 50 something white guy with a highly compensated job at a major insurance company. He has been driving F150s for the last 20 years. Seems like a lot of older, upper middle class, suburban white men in the Midwest like ford trucks.

Grew up in the South, saw 75% of old trucks were Fords (still see that now in CA). Personal anecdote: I've owned 4 Fords now (two rangers, an '86 F150, and just recently an '18 F350), and 1 Dodge. The Fords just kept running forever. I totalled my first two, but they still ran. I occasionally drive my '05 ranger and it's got over 250k miles on it with only maintenance done to it (no engine rebuild, knock on wood).

Not sure where the rednecks are that you're seeing, but that's not what I've seen.

Awesome. What animals do you have? My brother is a retired SWE that bought a farm and an F-350.

Just horses, a dog and a cat for now. Anything else would require too much time because we both work FT. But when we retire, likely goats and chickens, maybe some cows, would love an alpaca.
