OCI Bangalore WLB and culture
I have an offer from Oracle Cloud Bangalore and wanted to know a couple things: 1. Is the work life balance very poor in OCI compared to rest of oracle? How many hours per week do OCI folks work on an average? 2. The team I am being hired for has been newly set up in Bangalore with majority of the current folks working out Boston and Seattle. Should i expect frequent late night sync-ups with US folks? TC : 35L base + 10L joining( over 2 yrs) + 10 L stocks YOE : 5 yrs Level : IC3 #oracle #oci #wlb #bagalore

From what I know from my peers, WLB is better than Amazon if you were in the typical pip type amazon team ... Most of them considered it a bit of downgrade moving to Oracle, but hey, better wlb and pay and an RSU vesting schedule that doesn’t force you to stay for minimum 3 years to get min 50% ...

Stocks are per year? If you're sde2 at Amazon your TC would be 40+ I believe. I think the TC difference is not enough to jump ship to a lower rated company.
