Can anyone shed light about their onsite experience for a IC3 positon?

What’s your YOE
I interview IC2, IC3, IC4 and IC5 candidates. My question is always the same. I think it’s a Leetcode medium. As an IC3 I would expect you to complete the problem in ~40 min (I don’t require the most optimal solution) and then be able to reason about time and space complexity. If you are able to complete the problem in 40 min, I then switch on a design question and this is mostly when I calibrate your performance. As an IC3 I’m expecting from you to be able to talk about distributed systems, scalable solutions but not too much hand wavy stuff. I don’t care if you say you don’t know or if you only know the concept but never implemented it. I just want you to see if you don’t try to bullshit me and if you show that you want to learn and that you still have things to learn.
Technical Phone round - lc medium Onsite - two lc medium and one system design and behavioural and a manager round. They are trying to see if you are able to come up with something even if you don’t knwo about it instead of saying I don’t know.
For what part did would they expect me to come up with something without saying I don’t know
They are seeing your approach based on your past experience if you don’t know some thing. Mainly are you trying to solve it ot not even if you don’t know. This is incase of LC and System. Design.
I was asked 2 LC easy on the phone, 3 medium LC ( one is DP) LP, system design onsite
