A while back there were several posts that Snap was enforcing a bottom 10% PIP quota and it was mentioned in a big meeting. These posts were from Snap employees. Now those posts seem to have been deleted which is very suspicious. Seems like HR might have flagged those posts. Can Blind help us find out the truth?

For the nth time, there is no forced pip at Snap, no stupid demands like 2 week ramp up time. There is a 10% low performer categorization and you will likely be pipped if you are not adding anything noteworthy.
I got PIPd and the documentation is a joke. I got thrown under the bus by a psycho and now that HR is involved itβs just a soulless unyielding process.
Iβm sure some engineers with low contribution do need some more motivating, but that is certainly not my case.
