I recently had an on-site with Meta. I think the interviews went very well and am expecting an offer. I have other offers coming in as well, so my recruiter is pushing me through the process quickly. I went through the on-site with an E4 target but asked for E5 upleveling if my performance suggests I am an E5. My recruiter mentioned I am going through two hiring committees but may be able to go through just one if I give numbers. What does this mean? Is the first committee for hire/no hire and the second for the upleveling decision? Is there any advantage to giving numbers so that I can go through only one committee? Why would the numbers circumvent the need for a second committee?
Thanks for your help. FYI, my recruiter has been very helpful and pleasant, but I want to hear from the Blind community so that I can get some strategic advice.

If you give numbers, she can do both committees in parallel. At least, that's what I'm reading from this.
As an aside, my recruiter is the best I have worked with. They have really gone above and beyond for me and have been much friendlier than your typical recruiter.
