What is the time frame for application to interview with some of the team's for Amazon?

    Took me five hours from applying online to being scheduled for a phone interview. ๐Ÿ˜‚ Ended up declining it because I had applied for fun

      Donโ€™t consider yourself too special. I get contacted by Amazon recruiters also. Most recruiters are like deep sea fishing trawlers. They cast wide nets and snag several turtles in the process and every so often a curious porpoise with a desire to be the chicken-of-the-sea. Apple follows the Japanese whaling boat model claiming to be doing โ€œresearchโ€ but just butchering out of sight in a sleek ship.

      Thatโ€™s very true. I donโ€™t think Iโ€™m special. Back then I got lucky and swift response. Unfortunately it backfired as the proposed process was far shorter than expected, therefore I had to decline the offer.

      Yet someone above was butthurt cuz they thought I was berating Amazon ๐Ÿ˜‚ for โ€œthatโ€ they wished me to lose my job. .A0b1 โ„๏ธ played so much victimization that I suppose they must be bullied a lot on Blind... feeling sorry for them. ๐Ÿ˜‚

      Those who took offensive stance for a casual response on Blind were the ones who felt most insecure. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

    From submitting a resume, could be anything (9 months in my case, I'd literally forgotten I'd applied for anything), but from the time they contact you, if they do, they clearly communicate, and stick to, a schedule. Usually 3-5 days to hear if you've gone from phone screen to interview and two weeks after interview to decision.

    It varies wildly, though the biggest variance is in the time from application to the time they schedule a phone interview. Once the process starts, it's a couple weeks.
