How viable is it to internally ping a HM for a chat at Microsoft.

Got a SWE role at Microsoft. I’m looking to transition away from SWE and into PM, however, applying to PM roles at MSFT = auto reject (I have gotten two PM interviews at other places before so it’s not like my resume sucks)
I’m thinking of joining msft, and after 4-5 months, pinging HM’s who post job reqs internally to chat with them and get in the pipeline and start the loop that way.
How viable is that? 1. Is there a minimum tenure requirement before applying outside of job family? 2. Are the HM’s for different roles listed in the internal postings, so that I can ping them and chat with them?

1. No requirement, but best to do the trainings
2. They are but email for an informational request
As a note, switching that fast will likely annoy your manager, but it's totally doable. I moved after 4 months or so.
