Hi folks, TL;DR I need an advice/suggestion whether I should change job locally or go abroad considering long term growth in ALL ways. Current TC: 33L INR (after tax ~24L) Location: Bangalore, India YOE: 6.5 Offered TC in Bangalore: 10% hike Abroad to be offer: 80k €/68L INR after tax (yet to get) If I start now, abroad process will take 3-4 months and I have to let go my current offers. ------------------------------------- Long description: I have joined Oracle 6 months back and don't like my current project and work. I have offers from Target, American express and SAP. I like tech stack at SAP and they are giving full stack role even though I'm a back-end engineer. Target is offering big data engineer role, so I see new learning there as well. But I have thoughts of going to abroad (Ireland) for a permanent role in a product company through a consultancy. I'm married and my wife is not in software and have to find job for her after going there. What would be your suggestions on this? #software #ireland #europe #abroad #fullstack #dataengineer
You may get to learn new things with SAP but SAP is giving 3% - 6% annual increment since pandemic. Don't expect money.
SAP is shit. Full stack means working on UI5 which is worthless.
Actually I checked with hiring manager. They are using react + ts. Few other open source tech stack also they're using, so that's the reason I liked.
What is for the backend language?
Java. Framework they said they're using spring boot + SAP CAP.
I didn't have a good experience with the CAP framework
