Current role: Sr Delivery Manager YOE: 8 Current TC: 120K No bonus/RSU/etc Finished the final interviews with both Salesforce and Amazon. I’ve already received a verbal offer from Salesforce and expecting an offer from Amazon/AWS in the next 2 days. I will update with info when available. Salesforce Role: Sr Engagement/Delivery Manager (CSG) Level/grade(?): 8 Base: 160K Bonus: 15% RSUs: 104K for 4 years Sign-On: None TC: ~210K After 1 round of negotiation: Base: 170K Bonus: 15% RSUs: 130K for 4 years Sign-On: 5K TC: ~233K *I tried in a second round of negotiation to push for a higher sign on but was denied Amazon (AWS) Role: Customer Solutions Manager Level: 5 (I was down leveled in interview process) Base: 150K Bonus: N/A RSUs: 46 shares for 4 years (backloaded) ~130K Sign-On: Year 1 - 56K, Year 2 - 46K TC: ~215K Questions: - Do you feel the Salesforce offer is good? Feels strong to me and like it will come in higher than AWS L5. - Thoughts on negotiating higher base or sign-on from Salesforce when competing Amazon offer comes through? UPDATE: I chose the Salesforce offer and I’m very happy, updated info above. #tech #Salesforce #Amazon #AWS #projectmanager #salary #salarynegotiation #salarycomparison #PM #offer #FAANG #CSM #deliverymanager #engagementmanager

Thank you! I do not have Salesforce CRM experience.
TBD - I think the implementation teams are across clouds now - not specific to CRM.
I’ve worked for both. I’d go Salesforce. They’re a real sales co. AWS is a wannabe.
Thank you
