I got an offer from Snap. Is the following a reasonable package to ask for? 140k base 50k sign on 450k equity distributed at 10/20/30/40 percent
so are you suggesting I should ask for more equity?
What kind of engineering role is this, if you don't mind me asking
And what level? In Seattle?
Snapchat only has an office in socal
I had an offer from them a while ago. Turned down just because of vesting schedule.
Back loaded vesting is crap
If this were Google wouldn't be concerned about that vesting schedule, but for snap I would cut that amount by at least 75% when comparing it to other offers. FB may have already destroyed Snap's business by the end of year 2.
Is this the standard L2 offer at Snap?

Do you really think Amazon is that bad
Snap equity distribution method is more concerning. If its all based on current share price then the package is garbage
why do you say it is garbage? curious to hear perspective.
Because by the time u get to year 3 and 4 Snapchat may be worth dog shit
