Hello just received an offer from Deloitte. Wanted to see if it was good or not. Level: manager - Deloitte Salesforce practice Comp: 175k Bonus: 0-24% Signing bonus: well, the recruiter is still getting approval on this part. Thanks for any input.
Location?
Well I’d be remote and cover East Coast.
That’s really good for yoe and deloitte
I have 10 yoe making $130k with deloitte...jumping to amazon next month
And work remote, do it
How was the interview
Very long. Been a 3 month process. Over 7 people I’ve met with and 2 flights to different cities to meet them. By far the longest process I’ve been in. However, it wasn’t overly difficult. Everyone was great and the recruiter never ghosted me. Answered all my questions quickly.
LC?
I have an interview coming up with Deloitte for a manager position too. Would you share how did your in person meetings go? Did you solve any cases and what was the difficulty level? Thanks.
Was not a difficult process by any means just long and seemed arduous at times. During one of my in person they completely threw a curve ball at me and asked me to present without any notice to prep. There was also an entire room of people when my itinerary listed my meetings would be in sequential order one at a time. So, I was no prepped for that and they wanted to test how I could do on my toes. But, I’ve had much harder interview processes at other companies. HubSpot has a particularly difficult process and project to complete. I would not stress this process at all though. I think the background check is going to be more challenging and probing than the interview.
Great. I have an outstanding offer from another big 4. Their pay was $165K for Manager with ~10% bonus. Still want to show up at the in person interview for Deloitte and see how it goes. I agree about the approval process and background check. My approval process was pretty arduous and they made the final offer 2-months since the in person interview! I have heard Deloitte has a better process. So good luck with that!
Probably consulting for the us firm,
Its great! Always better to come in high. The company has great culture (guess it depends on team). But you will never run out of PTOs
I am leaving deloitte next month but it has been such a hard decision even factoring in the 70% raise. That tells you something.
So what's so great about Deloitte? I heard the culture tends to be old boys club type and snobby?
Its great
Seems low. Yoe?
