YOE: 4 Both are senior level positions. Robinhood's first TC is around 460k while apple's is around 395k. Not very sure where to go. Robinhood's role is with Experimentation team, which is a very new team. Apple's role is with Apple News. Some factors to consider: Apple's stock price is much more stable. Robinhood's WLB may not be as good as Apple? Robinhood may have greater potentials as well as risks. Robinhood's team seems more energetic. Apple's RSU vest is better? Robinhood vests after the second year.
I’d take the robinhood job based on future stock price potential personally. If wlb is important to you then I’d def go the ladder. Roughly what would you be doing at both?
Can you post breakdown for RH?
Only commenting on the “Apple’s stock price is much more stable”: I really don’t think this is too relevant. You can always sell your Robinhood stock and buy Apple.
Problem is stock going south even before vest.
I understand that, but (as much as it is associated with them) Robinhood isn’t a meme stock. It is a solid company and has a good amount of growth potential. If Robinhood is dropping in price significantly in any given period I would venture to guess other Tech stock are too.
Apple’s culture isn’t good
Robinhood Senior 460k? Wow that’s a great offer
RH unethical. Apple gulag. U choose.
Negotiate RH a little more and take it! Super bullish about them! Also improve their crypto experience please 😂 never seen so many maintenance events. Maybe you can move them over to DynamoDB🚀
Why is moving to DynamoDB a better choice?
Greater risk. Greater reward
