Offer evaluation from netskope
Hi , I am evaluating an offer from netskope . Base 205k Options :25k Location : Bay Area Current TC : 270k Yoe: 13 Is it a good offer ? Have another offer from Ericsson with 250k TC ( no stocks, all cash )
I guess the strike price and fair market price are the key factors ?
So 25 K options worth how much at present value ?
Are they not offering any bonus?
No . Not for first few years
I'd first ask them to match your TC first. Options are worthless unless they are headed for an IPO soon. Also, 25k options seem less. If they don't match your TC, it's a pass for me.

You can negotiate on stock options.
The stocks is not worth anything. They are not going IPO anytime soon so you are loosing money. What happens if they don’t go IPO. Ask for 35k stocks.
What’s the exit plan for them ?
Try to get more on the stocks and ask for signing bonus
