Which one should I take? Both positions will involve work in infrastructure( C for BB and Java for Amazon) #twosigma #janestreetcapital #facebook
Bloomberg is offering you 205k tc as a new grad? What does year 1 and 2 look like?
Ye, year 1 and year 2 both listed above 205k
Wow that sounds really high, I’m in a similar position, let’s see if they offer me that much xD
If you want to be at hedge funds later, Bloomberg and being in NY might give you and edge. It's very well respected in NY, pays well, and has good employee satisfaction
Hmmm but it Amazon more tech focussed company and I would want to work as soft eng at hedge funds too.
... Why wouldn't you be coming in as a software engineer at a hedge fund if you came from Bloomberg?
FYI people don’t typically count sign on bonus in TC
Yea I was wondering why Bloomberg's new grad TC looked so good suddenly lol
Good offers OP. I would pick Amazon cause you'll save on taxes. Also, did you have typical new grad interviews for both companies? I ask because Amazon's new grad offer is typically non-negotiable and Bloomberg's offer looks high especially for someone who isn't a returning intern.
Bloomberg
Why?
