I got an offer from Vanguard for IT Delivery Manager role. I find it low. Not sure , how much I can negotiate. How are the salaries at Vanguard? Any insights will be appreciated.
Salaries are low here and very bonus dependent. Expect a 3% raise each year non-negotiable (doesn't even match inflation) and the a decent mid year and year end bonus. I've never heard of anyone successfully negotiating a higher offer here but maybe you'll be the first it definitely doesn't hurt to try.
M3? Sounds about right. Definitely try to negotiate up though. Vanguard doesn’t typically move much on negotiations, but we are desperate for people right now so you have an edge there.
Is it possible to negotiate a band? M4 for M3
Anythings possible but M4 is usually an entirely different position/job. Others may know more. I think it would also depend on the department.
TM03's range is 100k-180k. Typically they want to start you dead center and the upper 1/3rd of that range is reserved for the 'distinguished' folks so you're really looking at 100k-153k. I negotiated a signing bonus to offset the fact bonuses are prorated.
140k may take you around 35k-45k bonus plus 14k bonus on 401k if you stay 6 year.
Does Vanguard give 35k-45k sign on bonus?
What is the range for vanguard TS04 ?
TC + YOE or GTFO
140k base + 20 years of experience
That sounds pretty typical for a IT Delivery Manager position.
