Offer question

Tc - $320k i just received an offer, is it normal for a recruiter to include all 4 years of thr stock grant in the first years TC? i told recruiter i needed $350k Tc she put together: Base: $200,000 Bonus: $30,000 Stock: $150,000 (over 4 years) recruiter tood me my TC would be $380,000 but when offer letter came, its really $267,500. recruiter keeps acting like im the stupid one. is this a H1B candidate offer dirty trick? can other recruiters comment?

That's bad! and yes, ofcourse! If it's an internal recruiter, they would want to save as much money as possible for the company so that they can get merit for that.

I didn’t know I had to explain TC was for the year, not for 4 years. I feel stupid and bad. I wanted the role, but I feel lied to. I gave numbers. I think this recruiter does not respect others. Recruiter said this “Because we view stock offerings as a guaranteed grant since it's in the form of RSU's, we include the entire lump sum in the offer number. I apologize if it was confusing the way it was presented. “
