Now if I was single and didn't have a lot of important relationships established then I might consider TikTok, to gather up as much money as I can as an investmentin my future security (Investing all of it in Bitcoin or other Blockchains). However even then, 30k for another ten hours a week over the course of a year seems to low to be worth it. I always ask myself this question. "Is the juice worth the squeeze." If not then I don't do it.
Also consider this. That first extra 10hrs buys you another $170k USD going from Microsoft to Tencent, yet that last extra 10hrs is only worth 30k? So for me it is obvious. This principle is the same for the employer also, yet they still fail to learn the lesson. The lesson is that the longer someone works they are faced with dwindling returns as a tired employee makes mistakes that cost more time to find and correct later. Even though this is true, companies believe they are maximizing their ROI by implementing this practice.
In any regard, best of luck to you. I will keep you in my prayers as you choose your next adventure.
