Offices should shutdown to help with AQ
I believe office should shutdown, get the cars off the roads while Bay Area air quality suffers. Lots of people can WFH, meeting can happen via electronic means. Cars add a lot to air quality situation, we can help a bit.
Careful what you wish for... If offices shut down now, environmentalists will rally constantly using this precedent to get more restrictive on cars, because "the world didn't end." This has tradeoffs and getting cars off the road if done right would be great.
And what's wrong with that! Expanding office space in Bay Area, already crowded to necks is a BAD IDEA anyways. World will not end of some of these companies move out to say East Bay, Stockton and Sacramento. Do not know why the fuck companies keep growing in limited vicinities!

The bay area tech company car contribution to overall air pollution is like a cow farts into the air. Dont brain washed by extremist so called environmentalists who have no scientific ground on things they say. It is the same group people prevent dead tree log and trim for “environment protection”, when many scientists claimed that the risk of wild fire hazard way outweighs the possible benefits. They dont listen. Now see what happens. We have wild uncontrollable massive wild fire EVERTY YEAR which causes more environmental damages.
