On Site Amazon Interview Results
How long does the recruiter take to email back on final decision? Referred a friend for the team, they had their onsite last Friday and everything went well. Recruiter said they should hear back by Tuesday, but still haven’t heard anything. They have emailed the recruiter yesterday, and still is eagerly waiting on the response!! Any insight into the response time?
It took a full week for me. Onsite on Friday, heard back from recruiter next Friday.

Should be faster. Amazon makes interviewers participate in round table within 24 hours and make a hiring decision.
Maybe also depends on hiring event vs interviewing for a particular team

When the recruiter schedules a call post interview to discuss about the results does that sort of indicate you will get the job? Coz I heard they usually send an email if it’s a reject.
It can go both ways. They call you even if it is a rejection.

Heard the same thing, “hear by Tuesday” nothing until a phone call on Friday letting me know they wanted to extend an offer. Recruiters seem a bit ambitious with turn around time
