One-to-one coaching for In-person Interviews?

experience - 15+ java, includes 8+ android obligatory tc - nada, zilch, zuk location - NJ / NYC. I have a handful of FAANG Interviews lining up. I was hoping to get some In-person Interview coaching. Any good resources? Any senior, staff, l5 and e5 considering offering in-person interview experience and coaching / mentoring over the weekends for potential senior and staff android roles? 2 to 3 hours of white-boarding, macbook code-challenges, system design, particularly behavioral Interviews. It's not that i can't do adequately decent. It's just that i have not been able to figure it out myself what is it that's mostly always been a strong no-hire after grueling day long In-person interviews. If only somebody could help me figure it out what is it that's glaringly inadequate that I should work to improve upon?

Pramp is great for mock interviews. But you may not get critical feedbacks. But better than doing nothing.

$899/ month. that is more than federal, state, county all taxes combined for an average american that is still a FAANG aspirant!!! I wonder how does that company even make money? who signs-up for that kind of a subscription?

do people do one-to-one coaching for free? If not, you should put your pay in your post

long answer - agreed FAANG is "elite" and pays top money. does mentoring and coaching for FAANG aspirants also have to be at a cost? are we human, or is this all humans have become in the myth of capitalistic greed? short answer - in my opinion, $40 per hour is decent, non-taxable, significantly above the minimum-wage, pocket change that does not involve having to impress a boss with code-monkey skills, instead focuses on something good, what i'd like to call giving-back!!

I think $100 hr for personal coaching makes sense. You can always learn from experiences and failures. Its free 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why don’t you apply for tier 2 companies and use their interviews as a practice for faang? This is a well known and recommended practice - don’t make your dream job interview the first one you take. Most companies would have somewhat similar interviews to faang due to the talent flows and mixes.

i have at least years of experience times a factor of 100 interviews under my belt. hasn't helped as much as it was supposed to. rate of rejection is way high than what it should really be. reaching out because i can't figure out the gap by myself. some people just walk into an interview and walk out with an offer. i have had very tiny intervals of that happening, and the interviews were a breeze, the quality wasn't really what i was looking forward to.

Are you telling me you can’t tell which interview questions you nailed and which one you failed and why? After hundreds of interviews? That’s by itself is an issue with self awareness ... start from that perhaps.
