I am interested in doing an Online MBA. I know the online version is no way near the in person experience and learning, but cannot afford to take a career break. My main aim is to switch to a PM role and eventually get into leadership roles. I already have Masters in CS.
Are the certificate programs good? e.g Stanford product management certificate?
I have a preference of degree over certificate programs.
Has anybody done it and recommend a particular program?

Also, some online MBAs are not worth the cost - you pay almost as much as full time but don’t get as much back during the cohort because it is online. Most of the benefit is the in person networking / relationship building. If it’s business knowledge you seek, you can always get the MBA knowledge online.
I would challenge you to rethink why a MBA is absolutely necessary and if it’s worth the time/cost because online part time programs can be a total slog and may not be the fastest way to get you to your career goal.
