I have purchased and finished Grokking Dynamic programming course on educative.io. Anyone who is willing to exchange it to Grokking System Design or Grokking Object Oriented design course? Or share these Design courses for some cost? P.S. I am student preparing for technical interview. These course are bit expensive for me
You could ask for a prep buddy rather. Where you could give your insights from GSD and in turn get their experience on GOOD. But don't share creds ;)
Not a huge fan of GSD. Seems quite weak sauce but if you’re a new grad you won’t even need that, no? Also, applying for L5 an and out one 25-30 problems I’ve been given so far, only one was DP.
Recruiter and other school seniors advice to prepare for SD questions.
Nah go for object oriented designs. No new grad should be asked system designs (even if you're good at it, we will still consider your YoE and be hired at the right level)
That system design course is not that great quality!
I know it is illegal and not good asking this kind of questions. Is there any good resources for preparing SD questions? Something like SD for dummies.
IMO going through a course will not make u better at system design. Try to read about some distributed based queueing or data store. Example Kafka, Cassandra and all these concepts are same for all NoSQL or you can apply this during the interview. Know about various distributed components like zookeeper, caching, etc. now go to YouTube and try to see some system design videos and it will help a lot.
Thank you for your advices. As conclusion it is better to learn Object oriented design. Right?
Yes. Go for OO Design. Out of college ppl are not expected to know about SD.
Still Looking?
@OP I can share the Grokking system design full course with you in exchange for the Grokking DP course. Or fine with purchasing it for some cost too if you want
This is a violation of the terms of use, and is essentially software piracy.
What a sheep. This is exactly similar to exchanging a book you bought with someone else's book. What's messed up is that idiots like you are too dumb and give away your rights too easily.
Tell them Amazon!
