Are there any current machine learning focused master's degrees in CS, offered by Georgia Tech / Columbia etc. Has anyone done these?
the quality of education for the omcs is okay, but i swear they admit almost anyone, people at my company who had 3.0 gpas get accepted. never heard about columbias though, any more info?
The gpa doesn't define the engineer.
yeah except this is for school, not a job
They do. Got one this year from the state college here. Everyone passed and now has an MS. It’s a profit center for most cash strapped colleges.
Are there any part time masters degree
Syracuse University has an online Data Science program. I haven't tried it out, because I was already in the middle of my CS master's at a different local university when I found out about it.
Where were you doing it?
Yes, Georgia tech offers online MS in CS (OMSCS) specialization in Machine learning.I will be starting the course this fall
Are there any other colleges that offer this? How many courses do you have to do and how long does it take?
I guess UI Urbana champaign and Columbia university also offer online degrees/diplomas.
