How they are considered comparing to other companies (Google x, Amazon labs etc) ? Are they prestigious, meaning there's a competition to hire their researchers everywhere? How about money, do they pay on pair with Google, Amazon? Thanks !
Doesn't matter which company 'labs' you work for.. as long as as you find something that will make money for company, you are good anywhere. The business insight is what most phds lack.. few phds realize that in couple of years and will change. Few will be stuck in their own idealistic world and think they are superior beings because of their phd.
In principle, I agree, but in case of Oracle there is a large compensation and professional challenge fluctuation among departments, hence looking for some insights on Oracle labs
I know one person there. If they're representative, pay is not competitive with Google. Don't know about prestige and don't care.
