First time looking for a job change since joining the corporate. so need a but advice on salary expectations.

What should be ideal pay I should be asking when joining OCI? I have 4 years of experience and made a mistake (did I?) of quoting just 24L during the very first call out of ignorance and now the recruiter wants to negotiate on that too.

How do you suggest I negotiate from here for fair pay? Should I consider my current salary while quoting new number? If yes, is there a standard calculation?

Current: 16L

Oh I'll cross check with HR. Meanwhile, 4 years of experience and currently being a senior, it fits IC3 right? And usually, do they upgrade the JD to fit the candidate?

Btw, should it be straight rejection if it was IC2? (Given my experience and current role)
