Other companies or roles to branch out from operations management?
Currently work at Amazon as L6 operations manager in an AR fulfillment ceneter. Direct senior and my GM have told me to get stories together for SR ops manager interviews within the next 4 months. Not sure if I want to climb the ladder to L7 in operations as I did 7 years operations (part time 2 years/full time 5 years) at UPS and 1 year at Amazon and I'm over the general grind of operations and managing 150+ people. I think I'd like a virtual role but when I check Amazon jobs most corporate roles I see are all technical roles and not in my area of expertise (my bachelor's is in management: business management). I look at Blind posts daily and seems most high paying jobs are all technical.
Is this always the case for other FAANG companies? Is there opportunity for non technical roles at these other companies? Or should I just be thankful I can pay my bills and look forward to what L7 operations may bring?
TC: 165K (came in external L6 on solid interviews)

Time in role: 12 months
