I am a 3rd year analyst in the AWM analyst program (502 level) and have an offer to move internally to the Corporate Bank in Wholesale Payments to be an Associate (601 level).
If I stay on my current team, my pay goes to 95k + bonus at year end and then 120k in July (move to 602 level). The new job wants to pay me my current salary of 90k for the next year.
Has anyone had success negotiating salary through internal mobility?
Has anyone moved at year end before bonuses come out? What happens to your bonus/year end rankings etc?
