Currently working in Product full time (2 yr exp) with 6 in Market Research. Also have additional experience on the side for a startup (not competing industries) owning end to end product. Want to continue in Product post MBA in Consumer tech, Fintech or Health tech. Options: 2 year MBA at US top 15 or 1 year MBA at Oxford
Will an Oxford MBA be recognized by companies in Bay Area or New York?

It's a pretty expensive option too get something that "might" be helpful. If you have to get one, go top 5 US, maybe Insead, forget Oxford.
(Got into GSB and didn't go because I wasn't planning on leaving tech and post MBA level at FANG is lower than where I was at the time. 0 regrets but only time will tell.)
Most decent MBAs cost ~100K/ yr x 2 yrs + opportunity cost of salary (Insead and Kellogg 1yr are the only exception to that I can think of). With that much cost just to GET to the starting line, you're better off spending those 2 yrs at a startup and $200k-$300k networking.
If she can get into M7 schools, and believes paying $200k + $150k-$250K of opportunity cost can yield more opportunities than if she has just hit the pavement today job hunting, sure go for it. Anything less than M7 the ROI is almost surely lower compared to the above.
These days everyone says they work in "Product"...only experience recognized by your peers will make a difference IMO.
