I have an interview with stripe next week. It would be cool to work there, but I've been reading some not so positive things lately.
Any current or ex employees willing to share their opinions?

WLB is fine but I don’t have kids. I work about 50 hours most weeks. My boss doesn’t ask me to work late. I do it because I get engrossed in my work. My team is not very deadline driven but many others are.
It does not feel blatantly competitive to me. Many people are ambitious and there are still corporate politics. Employees are stack ranked in the performance appraisal process. Expectations are high. So it’s happening behind the scenes. I’ve worked at other high growth companies and that part feels similar to me.
