Interview target level

When discussing target level with recruiter over email before the interview, recruiter said the target level is L5/L6, depends on interview performance and asked me if I have a minimum target.

I think my bottom line is top package in L5 but it would be much easier for me to make the decision if offer comes in at L6. Hesitating to just say I want L6, as even the L5 package would be a decent jump from my current one. What should I tell the recruiter?

    Unlikely to get L6 most places with only 5 yoe

    Just tell them what you want: “Don’t care as much about level as TC being above x”
