Itβs the best area in sunnyvale though feeding CUSD schools with all 3 good schools. And best commute location. But home could have been better condition
Why Bay Area house rates are crazy?

Just another day in Bay Area, wait a bit some below will start to preach you about lot size and school and brah brah brah
$3.5M for a tiny house π
2.5k per square feet for some mediocre 8/10 schools and a tiny mid 2000s quality house. Lol. This one will get hit hard.
Just curious why do you call those schools mediocre?
Theyβre 8/10 middle and high schools... If youβre going to overpay for a house for a public school district, at least do it for a 10/10 or the 9/10s which are borderline 10. If it ainβt borderline 10, kid gotta go private. Good private too obviously. And this is a ridiculous amount for a house in which the schools basically necessitate private
Asians with herd mentality going after mediocre schools
It would have probably sold for 3-3.2 but 9k lot pushed it to 3.5 I guess.
-340k since sold said Redfin
Who paid 1M over asking ? These folks are insane. Young families are being priced out by old folks of bay with multiple investment properties or by corporations.
Shanghai people.
My teammate in his late 50βs .. touching 60 has 2 SFH in Cupertino and 3 in Sunnyvale. Rents them out. This is allowed, but itβs just crazy to imagine how many such tech folks are there in bay..
