Amazon hiring spree?

I updated "open to hire" on Linkedin last week, I already have messages from 4 HM and 3 recruiters from Amazon.
Can any one shed light on why so many HM are directly contacting potential candidates?
I know attrition is high at Amazon, still I don't understand why HM have to do this.

I think pip is not implemented till org hits certain number or if it is growing. I think if you join a new org or an org growing rapidly you might be safe from pip quota and culture for some time but only tenured amzn employees can tell you
If you want to join amazon I suggest finding a team with a low ish ops load, so either a team building something new to launch or something like that. Ambiguity will be high since itβs greenfield but you can focus on building and not on sev 2 tickets.
