A bunch of PM recs are open at Intuit, what’s going on? Did y’all just clean house?
The company is growing, hiring takes time, and bay area is competitive. There’s nothing more to it.
There has been an org wide hiring freeze without any backfilling. Roles open back up soon (fiscal year starts in August).
Or the business is doing well (see stock price) and they need more folks helping grow the business.
There were pm 1&2 positions like 3 day Ago. I checked back the next day and they were gone. I couldn't apply anymore :(
Company just changed vesting from 3 to 4 yrs on reduced pool. Tried position this as good for employees. Lmao.
Hmm.... They positioned the current plan as against their financial principles since that expense was growing faster than revenues, and when they benchmarked it against other comparables, they were out of whack on participation and time frame. They left participation untouched, so changed the vesting time frame and then thought about the feedback that employees wanted access to the cash, so they changed it to quarterly after year 2. So, THAT part was beneficial, and I think keeping the participation rate at 90+% is also pretty awesome. And the vesting pool is actually larger this year compared to previous. Please check your facts.
Then why is everyone’s pay going down @fiHN43? Nobody I know liked the stupid 3 to 4 year vesting schedule change with limited RSU. The pay given to us is disappointing at best. You sound like a HR. Stop with the BS
HR shill, if you read the other threads on topic here, you obviously see that most current Intuit employees posting see the change in a far less positive light than you do. Turn over after IPI in August should be extra interesting this year.
Correcting the previous poster’s wrong info about the equity pool. Whether others like it is their affair ... just as they post their opinions, I’m posting mine.
Did the exodus happen or is it happening?
Anticipating the aug 1 mass exodus.
What’s on aug 1?
Bonus pays out, RSUs vest, and people get generally disappointed that they didn’t get a promotion while someone they don’t respect does.
