I got L6 PM (program manager) job offer from amazon in Seattle base 133k sign on 90k RSU 116k I have 8+ years experience is this a good offer or low ball? #salary #amazon #pm #joboffer #compensation #workerscompensation
Don't know the answer but L6 PM are not paid similar to a TPM.
Seems like a low ball offer , i was offered L5 engineer level and offer was 30% more than this
Non tech PM is paid like 2 or 3 engineering levels down. Its not comparable to engineer TC
They seem to not care . They keep saying we are a big deal so we can give low offer and people should say nothing! Which makes me not want to join them . I have another offer which is better than this
That seems . . .low?
Does it seem high to you ?
The rsu is what matters. It has been growing at 15% year on year. Given the market correction right now, maybe negotiate harder on the RSU.
Yea they are very proud of their RSUs
It’s a bit low Band is basically 170-230
op look at this msg. Seems spot on. ^
Most of the info above is inaccurate. The band for L6 Program Manager is 155 - 193. Your offer seems to be about 180k. You can refer to 2020 comp ranges thread for confirmation.
What even is a program manager
Why would you bother commenting? Seriously
I’m being serious. It means so many different things. Is it technical, non technical? I’m genuinely wondering what it is
Is this after negotiation?
PM is product manager? project manager? or program manager?
Program manager
