Hello! I am a Backend Senior SWE for a major broadcasting company in their video streaming department.
I've spent my whole career in video streaming technologies and even worked for free as a teenager at a startup called "Move Networks". They really pioneered adaptive bit rate streaming and was one of the first companies to deliver true HD over the web.
Anyway, I think I would be a great fit and my current job is not longer ambitious enough for me. I need to grow and am being denied that at my current company as it doesn't have global ambitions.
If you are a #netflix employee and are willing to at least help me get a phone screen, that'd be awesome, dm me.
I've applied for 14 backend swe roles that seem appealing to me and I think I'd be great at.
Anyway, thanks if you've read this far.

maybe some other netflix staff will DM, good luck
Was it over linkedin?
Also, FB and Google are pretty flexible for coding language. Is that the case for Netflix?
I'm a golang dev, but can also brush up on Java if that's preferred.
