Will the bubble of everything end worse than previous bubbles?

Oct 28, 2021 12 Comments

In my life I have seen a dot com bubble, a housing bubble and a financial bubble.

Looks to me that we are in the everything bubble (stock market, oil, housing, crypto, etc).

When things burst, will things be much worse than in previous single segment bubles?

    Go back and see 1929.
Booming 20s were followed by the great depression decade.

There was a long period of industrialization after civil war until the 1920s. Lead to similar levels of inequality as today. 20s saw unprecedented stock activity due to newly introduced margin trading. And then it came crashing down.

  • 2008 was beginning of global central banking bubble. There is now a huge everything bubble globally and this is going to end violently with a massive reorganization of the global economy and world superpowers.

Right now the US basically has a monopoly due to the US dollar dominance.

This bubble will be worse. At least in 2008 we weren't seeing the inflation levels of today.

The problem is more laws and regulations have been passed since all those other bubbles, but the bad actors have found ways to navigate around the new regulations.

Spread across various industries, high up execs. Many of the regulations following Enron / arthur Anderson.

Also, been reading some of Bethany McCleans writings. She is of opinion not much in terms of accounting regulations really changes since then / we are ripe for things to start exploding.
