BUT, majority will be just fine, even those that stress out with impostor syndrome. Just ramp up and be keen on doing things with good quality and focus as much as you can. That puts you on best path for promo and success. Probably works everywhere
It actually sounds appealing from where I'm at in Amazon where I feel like I'm fighting against SDE2s with 4-6 years at that level for juicy enough projects to work toward promo.
