PTO policy
Hi blinders wanted to know how strict is PTO policy at Amazon. I know they offer 2 weeks of PTO during first year and then 3 weeks. But wanted to know in general how does management at Amazon takes PTO policy. Do they take it very seriously? Usually in my experience in IT companies since most of us are working more than 40 hours per week. Managers tend to loosen up PTOs.
Dependa on your manager Out of the 9 managers i had in the past 3 yrs only two of them asked me to enter my vacations in the system. That too just once each
9 managers in 3 years! Is it common turn over at Amazon or did you move teams? Can you share your experience? Thanks
