Palantir Behavioural Decomposition
Invited to the first on-site (Deployment Strategist) and the recruiter said it will just cover myself and my background in a much deeper way than the phone interview (Can't imagine what 4 hrs of that looks like!) What's the structure for cracking behavioural decomposition questions? Currently I'm preparing answers to common behavioural & situational interviews that reflect an alignment with Palantir values. What else is there? [inb4 ICE/evil/sweatshop/TC comments]

Behavioral decomp evaluation is easy to nail. To ensure value alignment, they will show you pictures of Latino refugees, you must be quick to look disgusted. When they show you pictures of law abiding American citizens, say āWe superior elites deserve to surveil their every action 24/7ā. Guaranteed pass
Yeah, youāre working for Palantir, youāre gonna get evil sweatshop comments because itās an evil sweatshop. Donāt apply to an POS company. You can do better. Everyone is hiring, you can make money anywhere.
I'm in London and going for APM positions - there are openings at only 2 other great companies (rejected by one of them for an internal candidate). Given my constraints, I really can't ask for more than Palantir. And I really do believe that they are doing important work.
^ as someone in London with a lot of friends at palantir, Iād avoid. Youāll spend your life as a DS trying to get clients to get off their ass and getting them to integrate their systems with Foundry. Itās basically just chasing people up to give you data, and then trying to work out how to join crappy datasets together. Then, youāll show them how to use a product but will stop before you deliver any useful insights. Itās the worst part of PM and the worst part of consulting combined. Join a consulting firm instead, and then swap to PM Culture isnāt great either - prepare to work very hard (I say this as a consultant)!
