What’s with all the protest that is going on against Palantir? Is the company leveraging data to fight crime and if so why are people concerned about it and above all why are they targeting Stanford graduates ? And are you concerned about the use of data / Machine Learning models for law enforcement by Palantir ?

Source? If against Stanford then they might be Cal Alum (JK)
Hmm as you know the news is all over the Internet, on twitter feed people are blaming Stanford graduates for joining the company
Palantir is not hot anymore. They are protesting early Cardinal who joined it?
Stanford students tend to come from rich white (and sometimes Asian) families which also tend to be politically conservative, or at the very least more receptive to conservative ideas. The Palantir founders/investors are also from Stanford too. Stanford grads tend to oddly gravitate towards one another and “help” one another out. So why protest against Palantir? Because this: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/bj9ez3/why-protesters-want-palantir-to-disarmice
One of my former teams was composed of ALL Stanford graduates (BS & PhD). We nicknamed it Cardinal Club :)
