Have an onsite for Palantir coming up soon. How did it go? Their “open-ended” question seems really unique, not like a cookie-cutter system design question. It seems like they’ve done away with the “decomposition” name, but I wonder if it’s the same.
The open ended design question is a system design question
Like a vanilla “design uber/facebook/twitter” kind of question?
Yeah Palantir has some good interview questions.. only problem is they ask the same questions to everyone more or less.. so pretty easy to game
How did it end up going for you/what did they ask you? Yeah, that’s my impression too about the same questions (question was right from leetcode/Glassdoor).
Hi can you please share the question?
I don’t really like the company for various personal reasons. But their product demo is kickass. That product is some legit spy shit you see in the movies, and they aren’t even showing you the latest release.
Would be cool if they demo finding illegal immigrants instead
You have to sell your soul first
Hey @qworp, can you respond to my queries?
Hey, congrats.. how many screening/HR + Programming/telephone interviews you had been through before the onsite. Is it LC hard/medium? Where is your onsite - NYC/palo alto? Is their any behavioral questions? TIA ( I have scheduled my 1st round Aug 1st week).
1 HR screen, 1 question on my phone screen which was a LC-medium (doesn’t have to even run), behavioral on that phone screen (why do you want to work for us?) Then made it onto the onsite
Thanks mate. Good luck for your onsite 🔝👍
