Sold one gift card in eBay. Buyer asked to email the gift card as per lisiting . Did that in ebay After some time buyer filed a charge back saying that account was hacked on his credit card. And PayPal filed a claim on me. I uploaded the email conversation and paypal decided in favour of buyer and charged me $20 extra. Seriously??????
You're selling electronic gift cards on eBay and you're surprised that there's an element of risk underpinning that market? You are foolish. Also, it's difficult to understand you but it just sounds like you're collateral damage of someone else's scheme and you're out $40.
That was my mistake . But why charge $20 extra
Because the person you sold it too wanted their money back. PayPal essentially reversed the transaction but didn't reimburse you for the lost goods. Probably because you didn't make the case that you're a legitimate seller.
Welcome to eBay/PayPal, where buyer is the king.
You’re an idiot for selling gift cards online. You should have just used it rather than dealing with this.
Sold many till now. Lyft has gift cards too right
🤣🤣🤣🤣
PayPal sucks
At least you’re only out $20
And my $40 bucks
Why not just use this giftcard?
It is already used
Why did you sell it? You have money in that card that you can use in so many places...
That’s not PayPal’s fault.
Why charge $20 extra? How this is right . Your security is weak is this my problem
Your security is weak.
