Eh, if vaccines effective rate is 100%, then I will take it. The death rate for my age group is statistically 0%
I’m taking it as soon as it’s available to me.

I think I'm going to wait for the second wave of vaccines just to see if there are any side effects that reveal themselves fairly early on
All medications come with side effects. Antibiotics and pain killers for example. The benefits outweigh the risks.
They do, but usually they aren't developed in <1 year. Hell, Moderna spent 2 whole days developing theirs. Don't get me wrong though, i agree for the most part
No thanks. Others can take it if it makes them feel safe
90% effective vaccine for a flu that doesn't cause any problems 99.98% of the time? No thanks. Same reason why I never get the regular flu shots.
would someone who is vaccinated and gets exposed to covid subsequently not be contagious?
Maybe.
They don't know. The current conjecture is that you can still be contagious but you just don't experience the symptoms as badly/at all... But time will tell
In the 1970s there was a mad rush to get the swine flu vaccine out the door and people were killed by it. I will get all the COVID vaccines, but wait until others have tried it and survived.
I’ll wait till the end of 2021. There should be more data to show any long term side effects. Not taking anything that was only tested on people for a few months.
Same boat. Maybe not the end of 21, but by start of next flu season cycle, so September for me
Would absolutely take it ASAP. But the vaccines won't be available to the general public until probably April of next year. Production and distribution have to ramp up. At first it'll only be elderly and healthcare workers. Us code monkeys who can WFH will be last in line.
No way.. looks like even India will get the vaccines to the public faster
What do you mean by “even India”? there’s so much superiority complex that will bring down this country at certain point
