This is my story. I have been working in AWS as DCO for almost 4 years now at lAD. Been working for my team and this cluster like there is no tomorrow. In the time I have been working in here I always worked with this mindset that to help the team and mangers to overcome the obstacles and challenging tasks. Until my last manger was here and according to the feedbacks from my LV5 manger and even now my IC2M Manager even him admitted and my team that I exceeded in my role as DCO Tech LV4 (forte performance rating is available for reference). This changed all of the sudden after my previous lead took over the role of IC2M Manager and I have been working with him for almost a year now. I worked with him as he was the lead of iad12. During his time as lead of lAD12, He Always praised me as solid tech and I quote "you are always trying to help, motivate the team, share ideas, vocal about concerns." . I was fortunate enough to be accepted in the cloud support mentorship program for an engineering role, this is when the LV5 manger was still my manger. Within 3 weeks into my nEw IC2M Manager he decided and started a coaching plan without having a 1:1 or expressing any major concerns he might have had about my behaviors within the team or not, He called me in office and just said your on the coaching plan .This while I'm in the program to eventually to transition to a cloud support engineering role (Higher pay - Higher role ) After all these years working hard, he sabotaged me and because he started this coaching plan and later he reached out to other team so i got kicked out of the program. That's when i decided to escalate to higher up and HR - Long story short Higher up are the same person which chose him for this role so i knew they will support him no matter how absurd this situation is and HR had to go what the higher up telling them. Now after the esclation they decdied to put me on PIVOT, i refused to leave amazon and stayed with knowing that this guy goal is just to fire me at this point, now today i had meeting with my cluster leader and IC2M manger that i failed the pivot for again absurd reasons Oh i forgot to tell you guys what was the reason they decided to put me on the Coaching/Pivot plan - for Earn Trust and Have backbone, disagree and commit, since they knew i have always been productive so they could not talk about my performance.My IC2M Manager was not happy that how i communicate with people yet i showed HR and higher up he talked about a female employee of amazon and and Calling Her DUMB and wrote to me ("we don't pity the dumb ones semko! we make fun of them via chime! ) I took the screenshots of it and sent it to HR and higher up. When it comes to communication he hold himself to a whole different standard . (edited)
