Do you know if companies have any issue with day1 cpt PhD? I mean it is not another masters and I will be doing my PhD.
Companies don't care about secondary degrees unless you are going into research
In the Seattle/Bay area?
I am will be working full time and doing my research simultaneously
I am also planning to take phd, could you please let me know tye school/university details
University of the Cumberland
If you are already an employee, it's not a problem when changing status. Some companies have weird policy when hiring someone on cpt though.
Ohkk
Can you extend the fulltime cpt past one year?
Yes ..I can but I will lose my opt
Or else...I can study and get 1 year CPT and then take opt later
Day 1 CPTs are fraud. I'd recommend to stay away from this. The point of getting a PhD is to gain expertise in your field of research by staying at the grad school full time. Day 1 CPTs defeat the whole purpose.
