I was a economics and finance major in school and my got a job at Bloomberg in Princeton as my first job. I learned a lot there and have a basic understanding of SQL and python. I was wondering what is the opportunity like in the Philadelphia area and if anyone has any companies I should consider. I see Comcast and that's about it.
Got SAP, Vanguard, Lockheed, Boeing, bunch of pharmaceuticals. Plus not far away in Wilmington are a bunch of large banks.
thank you for that information. Boeing and lockhead seems like something to look into not sure how advanced Vanguard or glaxo are interms of technology
yeah I was considering JPM , but I hear their technology infrastructure is way behind.
I'm from Lockheed. What kind of roles are you interested in?
i was thinking using SQL and python trying to move towards Hadoop those are the technologies I want to work with. I can Pm you if that is okay with you
Send me a PM
I just tried and it says I can't send you a PM for some reason. I'll try again tomorrow. Thank you for reaching out really appreciate it
