Ping me if you’re familiar with NEST thermostats!

Brand new HVAC and ductwork in Feb 2018. Clean filter No obstructions in drain Thermostat sees all 6 wires DURING failure Had the same Nest the life of the system from day 1 For the past few days, once daily, the Nest Gen 3 t-stat will stop blowing cool air in the middle of the cooling cycle, prior to reaching the set temp. It will still say “Cooling” but the air will start blowing warm. This does not resolve until the Nest is pulled from the wall plate for a few seconds and placed back. Then it counts down and resumes blowing icy cold like nothing happened. (Simply switching to Off then Cool does not get cold air blowing again.) Has there been a new firmware release? Anyone else experience this?

Make sure the condenser is running outside, also try resetting the T-stat in the settings. Another thing to check is the drain. If it gets clogged (depending how the flood switch is wired) it could be tripping the 24 volts sent to the A.C.
