Pivotal Product Manager interview
Asking for a friend. My friend reached to the final round of interview (on-site) and was only told she'll be paired with current product managers to go through a Product Management exercise for 1.5 hours (whiteboard, etc.) But did not provide further details. Has anyone recently gone through the interview or has any info that can be shared? Shes trying to understand what to focus on.

Previously it was 60m, so perhaps they’ve changed it. But it’s basically, “we have this problem in our office. Your job is objective 1 and 2. Ask us any questions you like, with the goal of ending up at a backlog” All you have to do is focus on product basics: - who are my users - what do they need - what do I want to test with an mvp? What is the minimum I can do to test that? Etc - how can I solve this problem most effectively? Things like “we should build an iPhone app” are an immediate fail. If you ask a few questions and then conclude that a mobile app is the way to go, that conclusion can still be totally ok. Helpful?
